Hi, I'm Nkechi Oruche, a Senior UX Researcher and Product Designer with a Ph.D. and a slightly dramatic love for solving complex problems.

I started my career as an Earth Scientist, studying rocks to understand how the Earth evolved. Now I study people, systems, and digital experiences to understand how products can work better.

Late bloomer energy

I rode a bicycle for the first time in 2021, proof that intimidating problems get easier with patience, practice, and the right support.

4 a.m. ritual

I start early with coffee in a Harry Potter mug, because apparently peace, caffeine, and magic are part of my process.

After-hours curiosity

I mentor, volunteer, build Lego, run, cycle, play video games, watch anime, binge movies, and draw stick figures with suspiciously strong personalities.
